Rapid Puppies Make the Hugos Great Again

Making the Hugos great again
But these are minor concerns, as for me the three most important factors are these:

1. The rocks are being overturned and the long-hidden problem of pedophilia in science fiction is finally beginning to be exposed. This is the real story.
2. Jerry Pournelle being recognized for his excellent and ground-breaking editorial work.

I don't know if we'll see more than five categories no-awarded this year, but it doesn't matter. They didn't think the Rabid Puppies could do it this year, but once more, the Puppies demonstrated that the SJW Narrative is a false one and the oft-repeated insistence that everyone subscribes to it is a lie.
Vox's press release:
Much to the surprise of the social justice warriors in the science fiction community, who believed stern disapproval and a record voter turnout would suffice to leash the Rabid Puppies, the nominations for the 2016 Hugo Awards were once more dominated by the corybantic canines. 64 of the Supreme Dark Lord's 81 recommendations made the 2016 shortlist, an increase of 6 from last year's 58 finalists.

"I'm not even remotely surprised to learn that the Rabid Puppies did so well," said Vox Day, as he mopped his brow with the flayed skin of an SJW after an arduous night of celebrating his fourth and fifth nominations. “For over 20 years, the mainstream science-fiction publishers have been trying to pass off romance in space and left-wing diversity lectures as science fiction. Support for the Puppies is a popular reaction to mediocrities and absurdities being presented as the very best that the field has to offer.”

Many of the finalists were delighted by the news. Chuck Tingle, author of "Space Raptor Butt Invasion", nominated for Best Short Story, tweeted: "understand #HUGOAWARDS nominate Space Raptor Butt Invasion as best book ever. This PROVES that we exhist in the first layer of tingleverse!"

Others were less pleased. Tor Books author David Barnett declared in The Guardian: "The Hugo awards, once the watchword of quality in the SFF world, appear to have been utterly derailed for the second year running."

DIY Passivism

How To Passivism
So what should you do?

Build a cabal. And to build a cabal, build a Männerbund, as outlined here.

When the problem is the entire official political system, the solution is not to participate in that system, but to build (or rebuild, depending on your viewpoint) a new, better political system. That is Step One of the Procedure: become worthy.

Are Ivy League millennials really the worthiest rulers? Not by some theoretical historical standard, but if nobody has replaced them yet, then yes, they are. That is not an indictment of passivism or Moldbug’s theories. It is an indictment of our civilization. You must become worthier than our current rulers. That does not just mean personally being healthier and more virtuous than they, it means, as a group, being more capable of good government – more capable of providing order, justice, law, virtue, truth, and glory.

Besides the current Cathedral-State, is there anybody out there with functioning institutions for determining truth, disseminating the official viewpoints, organizing mass social life, and providing lucrative careers and safe families for competent young men? You may dispute the use or definition of the word “functioning” – and there is much to dispute — but where is the Harvard of the right? Where is The New York Times of the right? Where is the Department of Justice of the right? Where are the courts of law of the right? Unless you have an obviously superior replacement to Harvard, nobody is obligated to stop listening to Harvard, stop trying to get into Harvard, or stop singing Harvard’s praises. Any criticism of Harvard will be just that, and a moot point to boot.

Perhaps the rising Harvards and NYTs, etc. of the right were unfairly crushed by the state at some point in the past, which explains their non-existence. That is probably mostly true. That is, however, also not an excuse. What did you expect to happen when you openly threatened an existing competitor?

There is no point to being open or public before you can win openly and publicly.

If you can provide more order, justice, law, virtue, truth, and glory than the competition, you will eventually win. And since the main political problem in the West is a lack of order, justice, law, virtue, truth and glory, you’ll be achieving victory every time you provide an instance of any of these. You cannot bring back order by lobbying the corrupt political system designed to quash it.

You must simply build order yourself. Building replacements to the entire official and unofficial government quietly, privately, non-politically without ever veering into activism may seem pretty difficult. It is. These may seem like stringent conditions for victory, but this is a planet with stringent conditions on life. Google “Skull Tower” if you need reminding.

To provide order, etc., you must first have some measure of personal sovereignty. Sovereignty begins with intellectual sovereignty and status sovereignty. To be fully sovereign, you first have to be sovereign over your own mind. You have to be sovereign over who and what gets your attention, time and energy. Only once your attention, time and energy are under your full control can you identify what paths to victory are most valuable, and then pursue them.

Intellectual sovereignty means you read the news furtively, but you read old books proudly, rather than the other way around. Do you control where your attention lies? The Pope does not. Do not let the media choose which battles you fight and which problems you think about. “Read old books” is not a snarky command, but a very serious program to remove the chains of modernity.

When you read enough old books, eventually you will not be living in 2016, but in 1616, and you will have new ideas that were not possible before – ideas that a typical modern simply could not comprehend. Right now, those ideas are by definition incomprehensible, but some of them might be the right ideas you need to win. There is only one way to find them. A good place to begin reading is here.

Status sovereignty requires a Mannerbund. One man alone will be hard-pressed to revive Western civilization, especially if doing the things necessary to do so makes his peers look down on him, or makes him forgo other actions that will raise his social status. Your internal status-seeking system has to be realigned to seek status along traditional lines. To fix this problem, you need to be in touch with other like-minded men, you need to meet them regularly, you need to help them out, you need to exchange ideas and plans with them, you need to build bonds with them – such a small social program will be a small victory in the larger scheme of things, but a good civilization itself is nothing more than a million of these small social programs concentrated in one territory.

Even the tallest tower began with a single stone. If you can’t even build one stone, you will never build the million stones necessary to win. Get building.

The One Weird Trick White Nationalists Are Using to Ethnically Cleanse San Francisco

The Hispanic and Asian populations in California are growing rapidly, but in San Francisco, their share of the population is falling. Learn how white supremacists were able to stop the influx of non-whites and create an island of white purity.
By 2040, San Francisco County is projected to have a non-Hispanic white majority—jumping from 42 percent in 2013 to 52 percent in 25 years. The percentage of Asians is expected to fall from 34 percent to 28 percent. The Latino population is forecast to shrink from 15 percent to 12 percent. The city’s dwindling number of African-Americans, currently down to 6 percent, should remain the same.

Embrace Monogamy

The decline of America is not an accident
"Why are we here today?" she asked.
"To make revolution," they answered.
"What kind of revolution?" she replied.
"The Cultural Revolution," they chanted.
“And how do we make Cultural Revolution?" she demanded.
"By destroying the American family!" they answered.
"How do we destroy the family?" she came back.
"By destroying the American Patriarch," they cried exuberantly.
"And how do we destroy the American Patriarch?” she replied.
"By taking away his power!"
"How do we do that?"
"By destroying monogamy!" they shouted.
"How can we destroy monogamy?"

Their answer left me dumbstruck, breathless, disbelieving my ears. Was I on planet earth? Who were these people?

"By promoting promiscuity, eroticism, prostitution and homosexuality!" they resounded.
Vox lays out the 5 steps to reversing this decline:

1. Embrace monogamy
2. Support and sustain power of the American Patriarch
3. Embrace the role of the American Patriarch
4. Rebuild the family
5. Restore the culture

Activism Meets the IRS

The Internal Revenue Service is fielding fire from two branches of government, the courts and Congress, with the first accusing the agency of ongoing dishonesty and the second – at least, some on the Republican side of the aisle – demanding the impeachment of the tax chief, John Koskinen.

As the Washington Times reported, Judge David Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit said in a hearing this week that evidence appears to show the IRS intruded upon the constitutional rights of tea-party groups by delaying their applications for nonprofit status, and by asking questions that went above and beyond what was necessary to process their paperwork.
The Tea Party is not anti-Cathedral with any of its actions, yet USG saw fit to hamper it enough to reduce it's power during the 2012 election cycle.

The punishment went beyond delaying applications for non-profit status. Individuals who were in charge of Tea Party groups were audited on their personal and business taxes.

When you present the hammer a nail, it hammers it. The hammer doesn't hit what it cannot see.

If mass activism were successful there would be a revolution every 20 years as Jefferson wanted. Instead, most people don't care about politics at all, less and less all the time as more distractions take up their time.

Mass action is possible though. However small an action, when enough people do it, there is an effect.

Homeschooling is not mass activism, but if enough people are homeschooling, teaching their children the classics and traditional values, they are creating something far more powerful than most of what would be labeled as "activism."

A person is passive, in the eyes of the State, if he is not directly challenging State authority. Sending your children to the public school for their daily dose of pozz is a passive act. Allowing others to do work for you is an act of passivism. The Cathedral effectively dominates today because it is much easier to be passivist. Taking action in your personal life, which will be interpreted as a passive act by the State (or non-action because it is unseen), is not passivism. Neither is what the socialists do, marching in the streets, an act of activism. It is passivist to demand the government do stuff for you.

Proper Action

Social Justice Requires Race Mixing

Social justice is based on the premise of equality.

Equality is false.

There will always be anger and hatred in people who believe equality is natural.

Inequality is natural, stemming from unequal distribution of genes.

Unable to accept nature, social justice creates The Narrative of racism, sexism...

In rejecting nature, social justice ends up becoming the very evil it fights: it punishes people based on their genes.

The only way to stop the inequality is to remove the offending genes.

Racism is reduced when the "bad" genes do not have children or race mix.

This is the only way to end the hurt and anger of social justice, without ending social justice.

If you wait long enough and survive, social justice will remove itself from the gene pool.

Never interfere with an enemy while he’s in the process of destroying himself.

North Carolina Bathroom Law Most Eucivic American Law of 21st Century

You can control the signal even if the signal doesn't affect you.

Some Progressives value the signal higher than money.

Porn Site Bans North Carolina Users Over Anti-LGBT Law
XHamster just delivered a serious money shot on the North Carolina legislature.

Users from the Tar Hell State began complaining on Monday that when they tried to access the popular porn site on Monday, they were met with a blank screen.

XHamster spokesman Mike Kulich says that this is no accident, but rather a direct response to the state’s passage of what is seen as an anti-LGBT law.
This porn site has outsignaled the left.

Amp up the "equality is more important than money" signal on the left to get more of this behavior, while passing more laws designed to force more people into the signal.

Let the feedback loop begin.

Run With the Rampaging Rabid Puppies

After a couple posts against activism this week, here's a way to take a few minutes out of your day and leverage it into a meaningful action:

You don't have to pay to vote in these awards: Rampaging Puppies
It has been suggested, for example, that were we to turn our attention to other awards in the field, with other, more democratic systems, that our dearth of numbers would become apparent to all and sundry.

Which is why, sweet, slavering Puppies, I would direct your attention to the venerable Locus Awards, that bastion of science fiction history, where Tor Books has won the Best Publisher award for 27 straight years, and which we are informed is more representative of the science fiction mainstream than the elitist Hugo and Nebula Awards. For those of you who were unable to afford the entry fee or otherwise missed registering for MidAmericaCon II, this is your opportunity to respond to the Call of the Dark and run with the Puppies.
Vox offers some recommended works, which is in no way a slate or order to vote the list exactly as presented.

Activism Is Fragile

Right-Wing Activism Always Fails
Achieving right-wing goals for the long-term has to begin with renouncing activism. Right-wing activism is only a challenge to the system in theory. In reality, it is the system’s lifeblood, and if it were possible to muster enough right-wing activists to overthrow the system completely it would have happened a long time ago – one infamous man came very close, but ultimately failed when he discovered that genocidal Soviet communists were preferable allies to the United Kingdom and United States, and no right-wing movement has come close since.

The Unbearable Whiteness of the Democrat Party

By instinct, honed reflex and general contrarianism, I root for all “corrupt” “showboats” who are “disgraces to politics.” It has been this way since I left North Carolina at age 10 to move to Boston, a city with no notable black political leaders save the recent governor Deval Patrick, who, at least when I was growing up, seemed more a Hollywood relic than a politician. Freed from having to vote for black people, I began to root for the mob violence of Los Angeles and Oakland, mostly because I liked how deeply it seemed they were taunting the police. As I grew older and started feeling alienated from my white classmates, I gravitated toward athletes and musicians who, in some way, flouted the white, stoic traditions of American life. I felt as if this was a moral choice.

As this political season begins, I’ve been thinking about Obama because of a problem that has been discussed ad nauseam in political media: Whether we’re talking about Bernie Sanders, or Hillary Clinton, or Martin O'Malley, the Democrats pool of young talent just doesn’t captivate voters.

From a financial point of view, of course, the party is doing just fine. Overall donations up. According to Forbes, the average donation jumped nearly 50 percent between 2012 and 2016, and this year the DNC's annual revenue will approach a record $1.5 billion.

But the Democrats' cultural relevance has been in a steady decline. Doomsday prophets point to Trump's dominant TV ratings, the advancing age of the Democrat's core voters — the median age of Democrat voters is 56; and the hordes of young people who would rather bury their heads in their phones to watch Vines of Steph Curry’s nimble acrobatics. Social-media metrics aren’t gospel, of course, but the Democrat party measures up badly on virtually every online barometer, whether Twitter trends, Facebook activity or Instagram posts. Aside from some Clinton barking-related blips, Democrat social media presence has been steadily decreasing for the last 20 months.

The source of Democrats' diminished hold on our imaginations runs much deeper than social-media strategy. The problem lies in the demographics of the Democrat party, and the shameful way in which the majority of its media has failed to pay anything approaching adequate attention to the Latino and black politicians, aside from Obama, who have entered the field over the last two decades.

The Democrat Party used to be seen as a reflection of the country’s progress on race. Its 1968 convention has been upheld as a sign of the party's essentially democratic spirit; generations of writers and thinkers, like Maureen Dowd, Ta-Nehisi Coates and Chris Rock, found in Democrats an embodiment of America’s great experiment, contradictions and all. But there was always a saccharine dimension to the idealism about the party: Democrats represented a very particular, buttoned-up version of American identity, and politicians who deviated from it were often subject to harsh criticism.

In 1992, Bill Clinton, then the nominee of the party, complained about the way the Sister Souljah spoke about killing whites. Clinton said "If you took the words 'white' and 'black,' and you reversed them, you might think David Duke was giving that speech.” For this, he was booed during a trip to Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition. Jackson told reporters, "Sister Souljah represents the feelings and hopes of a whole generation of people.”

The Souljah showdown was one in a long line of coded racial arguments, minor battles between two types: the “standard” white politician and his nonwhite foil. The archetype of the white Democrat has always been a study in negative space. He does not flip off the crowd after a speech. He does not insult the hard-working white voters with talk about race. He never takes more than one day at a time. As a result, he cannot exist without a foil to embody all those “racist” or “hotheaded” or “provocative” things he is not. The foils, of course, have generally been black. But as the demographics of the country have changed, so, too, has this dynamic.

Last year, there was only one black Democrat Senator, down more than 50 percent from a few years earlier. Analysts have been searching for an explanation. Some argue that Democrat's retrograde culture and traditions no longer appeal to inner-city youth who have been mesmerized by the linguistic kill shots of Donald Trump. Others focus, far more convincingly, on the rising expenses of running a political campaign and the relative dearth of money offered by political PACs.

The decline in black faces in the Democrat Party coincided with a surge in Latino politicians, who made up roughly 30 percent of the party last year. But rather than embrace and promote its Spanish-speaking stars, the Democrat media have mostly ignored them. Even the Latino politicians who were ultimately celebrated have had to go through humiliating acculturations to make them seem more American. For example, the press insisted on referring to John Ellis Bush as Jeb!, something he hated. Julian Castro, the Obama of the 2010s, seems to go through his entire career without a single memorable interview or profile.

The Democrat Party still has the power to create the sorts of moments that turn rebellious kids into lifelong voters. This past April, youth in Baltimore emphatically burned and looted their city, an outburst that shot into every corner of social media. The youth almost seemed to be staking out new turf in what was considered acceptable — it was the most unapologetic riot I can recall seeing in a major American city — and so, predictably, it generated controversy. Nearly five months later, Martin O'Malley told a town hall audience, “All lives matter."

In November, some youth published an article titled “Are You Flipping Kidding Me?” on the website World Star Hip Hop, in which they wrote about the bad faith of the media toward black and Latino politicians, the fact that their rioting was seen as uncivilized and how the pressure to play by “country club” rules chafed. “Democrat politics is a metaphor for America,” they wrote. “It’s a giant melting pot made up of people from all over the world and all walks of life. How can you expect everybody to be exactly the same? Act exactly the same? More importantly, why would you want them to?”

This year, for the first time ever, all Democrat politicians will be required to hire a full-time Spanish-language translator. That it took until 2016 for Democrats to provide a bridge between Spanish-speaking voters and the public shows just how little Democrats have cared about any people that fell outside its usual archetypes. But such negligence is shortsighted. It’s hard to imagine the “Clinton in ’16” campaign without Barack Obama's 2008 superstardom, without the press boxes full of old men who bristled every time he spoke. These stories, and all the conflict, contradiction and excitement they bring, are the very catalysts of nationwide interest.

Are We All Jews Now?

David Brooks writes about globalization and atomization in How Covenants Make Us
In her new book “Commonwealth and Covenant,” Marcia Pally of N.Y.U. and Fordham offers a clarifying concept. What we want, she suggests, is “separability amid situatedness.” We want to go off and create and explore and experiment with new ways of thinking and living. But we also want to be situated — embedded in loving families and enveloping communities, thriving within a healthy cultural infrastructure that provides us with values and goals.

Creating situatedness requires a different way of thinking. When we go out and do a deal, we make a contract. When we are situated within something it is because we have made a covenant. A contract protects interests, Pally notes, but a covenant protects relationships. A covenant exists between people who understand they are part of one another. It involves a vow to serve the relationship that is sealed by love: Where you go, I will go. Where you stay, I will stay. Your people shall be my people.
Brooks thinks America will be revived, but that's not going to happen on terms he will like, and even then the odds drop considerably if there's another 4 years of open borders, plus amnesty.

If instead the continent spanning nation state is dead and globalization remains, what follows will allow for greater diversity, but also less integration. Instead of reclaiming the nation state as physical territory, the nation will be reclaimed as a phyle or a tribe, whether organic or constructed for a common purpose. An encrypted national financial network has no geographic limit and the economic benefits bestowed by the nation-state, via its issuance of currency and ability to tax (which is dependent today on its ability to violate privacy), is the last remaining attraction.

Against the Action of White Nationalism

If people who consider themselves the posterity of America's founding stock wish to preserve and develop the cultural heritage which stretches back to the Magna Carta and beyond, this alone will be considered racist by progressives and will be "racist" in the sense of being an ethnically and racially non-diverse project. The Amish are not white nationalists, yet there are few if any non-whites among the Amish.

The Red Pill is a worldview, not a plan of action. White Nationalists are taking the Red Pill and looking to turn it into a direct action, or counter action against the Left. A more successful strategy is what the Left would see as non-action. The Cathedral wants something to punch, but they cannot punch air. The Left wants to create racial tension and fight on these issues. If the Right fights on the Left's battlefield, the odds of losing are high. Instead, change the battlefield. Learn from Gamergate. The Left tried to say Gamergate is misogynist; Gamergate responded we play games. Learn from homeschoolers: instead of trying to fight the public school system, instead of trying to abolish it, or get left-wing teachers fired, people created alternative education options. One is a democratic, mass movement. The other is an individual act. One requires debate, one requires action. Yet as far as the public school system is concerned, homeschoolers are engaged in non-action. They are not a threat to public education. At least until their numbers swell, but at that point it will be too late to stop them...

Update: And here's a perfect example of the cuckservative. Yes, The Alt-Right Are Just a Bunch of Racists

If the only choices are cuckservatives or WNs, the WNs will win because people don't want their countries to turn into Third World hellholes.
