Most Europeans want immigration ban from Muslim-majority countries, poll reveals
A majority of Europeans want a ban on immigration from Muslim-majority countries, a poll has revealed.

An average of 55 per cent of people across the 10 European countries surveyed wanted to stop all future immigration from mainly Muslim countries.
When you lie, you run the risk that your lie takes on a life of its own. Progressives do not understand what is happening in the country, their time preference is as high as a crackwhore's and they are flailing around for a strategy. What have they accomplished by fighting Trump's executive order? They've created the idea of a Muslim ban and generated majority support for it in Europe. If the Right proposed a Muslim ban it would be denounced as racist, but by inversion, the left has planted the idea by their opposition to it. The alternative to open borders is not sane immigration policy anymore, but a Muslim ban. For those about to cry, we salute you!

On the other side, it looks like Trump advisor Bannon has very low time preference:

What Steve Bannon Wants You to Read
They are not mainstream thinkers, but their writings help to explain the commotion that has defined the Trump administration’s early days. They include a Lebanese-American author known for his theories about hard-to-predict events; an obscure Silicon Valley computer scientist whose online political tracts herald a “Dark Enlightenment”; and a former Wall Street executive who urged Donald Trump’s election in anonymous manifestos by likening the trajectory of the country to that of a hijacked airplane—and who now works for the National Security Council.
It's designed to be a smear piece, so take it with a grain of salt.

"In 26 Years, I've Never Seen Anything Like This" White House Leaks Reportedly Reveal Trump Team Turmoil
“I’ve been in this town for 26 years. I have never seen anything like this,” said Eliot Cohen, a senior State Department official under President George W. Bush and a member of his National Security Council. “I genuinely do not think this is a mentally healthy president.”
Thanks neocon psychologist. What makes Trump mentally unhealthy?
There is the matter of Trump’s briefing materials, for example. The commander in chief doesn’t like to read long memos, a White House aide who asked to remain unnamed told The Huffington Post. So preferably they must be no more than a single page. They must have bullet points but not more than nine per page.
Wow. Just. Wow.

Trump’s faux-pas diplomacy
Normally, this person said, any change in foreign policy — or discussions on the calls — would be heavily vetted with experts and senior department officials. “These are usually the most orchestrated of affairs,” this person said. “They aren’t orchestrated like that anymore.”

This person said “what really bothers you about this administration is they don’t care about the experts and what we’ve done here for decades. I don’t think they trust us for anything.”

Trump Says White House Leaks Coming From Obama Admin Holdovers
President Donald Trump pointed the finger at Obama administration holdovers at the White House and National Security Council for leaking information about private phone conversations he had with leaders of Australia and Mexico.

Trump to judges: Even a 'bad high school student' would rule in my favor
President Donald Trump harshly criticized arguments against his temporary travel ban on Wednesday, discounting a legal challenge to the order as anti-security and lambasting the federal judicial system that's weighing it as overtly political.

The war has begun.
